Accessory sex gland

A gland in the reproductive system that produces fluids contributing to semen or supporting reproductive function, but does not produce gametes. In males, these include the prostate gland, seminal vesicles, and bulbourethral glands, which secrete fluids that nourish and transport sperm. In females, examples include the Bartholin's glands.
