Bulbourethral gland

One of two small exocrine glands located inferior to the prostate gland in male mammals. These glands, also known as Cowper's glands, secrete a clear, alkaline fluid into the urethra during sexual arousal. This fluid lubricates the urethra and neutralizes any residual acidity from urine, protecting sperm.
