Bulbus cordis

An embryonic cardiac chamber that forms part of the primitive heart tube during early vertebrate development. It contributes to the formation of the outflow tracts of the ventricles, including the conus arteriosus and the truncus arteriosus. In humans, it develops into parts of the right ventricle and the roots of the great arteries.
