Epididymis

A coiled tube located on the posterior aspect of each testis, serving as the site for sperm maturation and storage. Spermatozoa acquire motility and fertilizing capacity as they pass through its head, body, and tail regions. The epididymis connects the efferent ducts of the testis to the vas deferens.
