Cauda epididymis

The most distal and narrowest part of the epididymis, a coiled tube located on the posterior aspect of the testis. This region serves as the primary storage site for mature spermatozoa before ejaculation. Spermatozoa gain full motility and fertilizing capacity during their transit through the epididymis.
