Rete testis
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-013498
An anastomosing network of tubules located in the mediastinum testis, connecting the seminiferous tubules to the efferent ductules in the male reproductive system. This network collects spermatozoa from the seminiferous tubules and facilitates their transport towards the epididymis. Its epithelial lining is typically cuboidal and possesses microvilli.
