NVRAM
Term · Computing and IT · MLC-T-CMP-000832
Non-volatile random-access memory (NVRAM) retains stored information even when power is removed, unlike volatile RAM which requires continuous power to maintain data. This type of memory combines the speed of RAM with the persistence of non-volatile storage. It is often used for storing configuration settings, firmware, or other data that must be preserved across power cycles without relying on a battery.
