A communication mode where data transmission occurs in only one direction, from a sender to a receiver, without any capability for the receiver to send data back. This unidirectional flow means that the roles of sender and receiver are permanently fixed for the duration of the communication. Examples include traditional radio broadcasts or television signals, where the audience receives information but cannot transmit back to the source.
