Relating to or containing the mineral analcime, a hydrated sodium aluminum silicate belonging to the zeolite group. This tectosilicate mineral forms as a primary constituent in certain alkaline igneous rocks or as a secondary mineral through the alteration of other silicates like nepheline or feldspars. Its presence can affect the porosity and permeability of reservoir rocks or serve as an indicator mineral during exploration for certain types of ore deposits, such as those associated with alkaline intrusions.
