Stockwork

A mineral deposit characterized by a complex network of small, intersecting veins or veinlets within a larger rock mass, rather than a single, continuous vein. This type of mineralization often forms in brittle rocks where fracturing has created numerous pathways for mineralizing fluids. Stockworks are common in porphyry copper deposits.
