Antireflective

Describing a coating applied to an optical surface to reduce reflection and increase light transmission. These coatings consist of one or more thin layers of dielectric materials with specific refractive indices and thicknesses. A single-layer antireflective coating often has a thickness of one-quarter wavelength of the design wavelength.
