Arcover

An electrical discharge that occurs when an insulating medium, such as air or a dielectric material, breaks down and allows current to flow. This phenomenon typically happens when the voltage stress exceeds the dielectric strength of the material. Arcovers can cause damage to electrical equipment and pose safety hazards.
