Ballpoint

A type of writing instrument that dispenses oil-based ink through a small rotating ball at its tip. The ball, typically made of brass, steel, or tungsten carbide, rotates freely in a socket, transferring ink from a reservoir onto the writing surface. Ballpoint pens are widely manufactured for their convenience, reliability, and quick-drying ink.
