Bleed hole

A small opening or passage designed to allow the controlled escape of fluid, gas, or air from a system. These holes are often incorporated into hydraulic or pneumatic systems to remove trapped air, prevent pressure buildup, or facilitate drainage. In some applications, a bleed hole can also serve as a visual indicator of fluid level.
