Diaphragm

A flexible membrane or thin plate that separates two chambers or acts as a barrier in a mechanical device. It is designed to flex or move in response to pressure differences, transmitting force or creating a seal. Diaphragms are found in pumps, valves, pressure sensors, and actuators, often made from rubber, plastic, or thin metal.
