Double lock standing seam

Term · Industrial and trades · MLC-T-IND-001802

A type of metal roof seam where two adjacent panels are joined by folding their upturned edges over twice, creating a watertight and mechanically fastened connection. This interlocking method forms a raised, narrow rib that stands above the roof surface, allowing for thermal movement of the metal panels. It provides superior weather resistance and durability compared to single lock seams.
