Daytime Running Lights, forward-facing vehicle lights that automatically illuminate when the engine is running, even during daylight hours. These lights are designed to make vehicles more visible to other road users, particularly pedestrians and cyclists. DRLs are often a lower intensity than headlights and do not illuminate the rear lights.
