Dropper

A small, downward-projecting vein or stringer of ore that branches off from a larger lode or mineralized body. These subsidiary mineral occurrences can indicate the presence of richer ore zones nearby or follow structural weaknesses in the host rock. Droppers are often explored during mining to assess their economic viability and connection to the main deposit.
