Edge venting
Term · Industrial and trades · MLC-T-IND-001967
A system designed to allow air circulation and moisture escape from the perimeter of a roof assembly, particularly in low-slope or flat roofs. This prevents the accumulation of moisture vapor within the roof structure, which can degrade insulation and decking. It is often achieved through continuous vents installed along the eaves or parapet walls.
