An open area of land immediately adjacent to the main farm buildings, such as the farmhouse and barns. This space serves as a central hub for daily agricultural activities, including the movement of livestock, parking of machinery, and temporary storage of supplies. The farmyard is distinct from the cultivated fields, pastures, or orchards that make up the rest of the farm property.
