Field of view

The extent of the observable world that an optical instrument or sensor can capture at a given moment. It defines the angular or linear dimensions of the scene visible through a lens or detected by a camera. This parameter is typically expressed in degrees for angular field of view or in units of length for linear field of view at a specific distance.
