Planachromatic

Describing an objective lens in a microscope that corrects for both chromatic and spherical aberrations across the entire field of view. This correction results in a flat, color-accurate image from the center to the edge of the visual field. Such lenses are often preferred for photomicrography and digital imaging applications where image fidelity is paramount.
