Flashing collar

A weatherproofing component installed around a pipe, vent, or other penetration through a roof or wall, designed to prevent water ingress. It typically consists of a flexible or rigid material, such as lead, aluminum, or rubber, shaped to fit snugly around the penetration and integrate with the surrounding roofing or siding. This collar directs rainwater away from the opening, protecting the building structure.
