Fuel filter

A device installed in the fuel line of an internal combustion engine that screens out contaminants from the fuel before it reaches the engine's fuel injection system or carburetor. It protects sensitive engine components from damage and maintains optimal fuel delivery. Filters are rated by the size of particles they can remove, often in microns.
