Term · Industrial and trades · MLC-T-IND-001979
A fuel delivery system that sprays fuel into the engine's intake manifold or directly into the combustion chambers, rather than using a carburetor. This method allows for more precise control over the air-fuel mixture, leading to improved engine performance and fuel economy. Electronic Fuel Injection systems are standard in nearly all contemporary gasoline engines.
