Grain elevator

A large facility designed for the bulk storage and transfer of grain, featuring tall silos, bins, or tanks. It uses mechanical conveyors, such as bucket elevators or pneumatic systems, to move grain vertically for loading into storage and horizontally for transfer to trucks, rail cars, or ships. A single concrete silo in a modern elevator complex can hold over one million bushels of grain.
