HSYNC

A timing signal in analog video systems that marks the end of one horizontal line of pixels and the beginning of the next, also known as the Horizontal Synchronization pulse. This signal instructs the display's electron beam or scanning mechanism to return to the starting side of the screen to draw the subsequent line. For the NTSC video standard, the HSYNC frequency is approximately 15,734 Hz.
