Term · Industrial and trades · MLC-T-IND-002951
Inter-Integrated Circuit, a multi-master, multi-slave, single-ended, serial computer bus invented by Philips Semiconductor. It is commonly used for connecting low-speed peripheral ICs to processors and microcontrollers over short distances.
