Magnetic equator

An imaginary line around the Earth where the magnetic field lines are horizontal, meaning the magnetic dip is zero. This line is not fixed and slowly drifts over time due to changes in the Earth's core. It differs from the geographic equator and is relevant for navigation and geomagnetic studies.
