H-field

The magnetic field strength or magnetic field intensity, representing one of the two fundamental components of an electromagnetic field, the other being the electric field (E-field). It is a vector quantity that describes the influence of magnetic sources like electric currents and permanent magnets. The H-field is measured in units of amperes per meter (A/m) in the International System of Units.
