Mesh analysis

Term · Industrial and trades · MLC-T-IND-003612

A circuit analysis technique used to determine the currents flowing in planar electrical circuits by applying Kirchhoff's Voltage Law to each independent loop or 'mesh' in the circuit. This method simplifies complex circuits by reducing the number of equations needed compared to nodal analysis. It is particularly effective for circuits with many voltage sources.
