Thévenin's theorem
Term · Industrial and trades · MLC-T-IND-005960
A circuit analysis theorem that simplifies any linear electrical network containing voltage sources, current sources, and resistors into an equivalent circuit. This equivalent circuit consists of a single voltage source in series with a single resistor. The theorem is widely used to analyze complex circuits by reducing them to a more manageable form for calculating current or voltage across a load.
