Orthoamphibolite

A metamorphic rock primarily composed of amphibole and plagioclase feldspar, formed from the metamorphism of igneous rocks. Its protolith was an igneous rock, such as basalt or gabbro, which distinguishes it from para-amphibolite derived from sedimentary rocks. This rock type often occurs in medium to high-grade metamorphic terrains.
