Tuffite

A sedimentary rock composed of a mixture of volcanic ash and detrital material, such as sand, silt, or clay. This rock forms when pyroclastic debris from volcanic eruptions mixes with other sediments during deposition. Tuffites exhibit characteristics of both igneous and sedimentary rocks, often showing distinct layering.
