Photometeor

An optical phenomenon observed in the atmosphere, resulting from the interaction of sunlight or moonlight with water droplets, ice crystals, or dust particles. These phenomena include rainbows, halos, coronas, glories, and mirages. Photometeors are classified based on the physical process involved, such as reflection, refraction, diffraction, or interference of light.
