Positive-edge-triggered

Term · Industrial and trades · MLC-T-IND-004434

Describing a circuit or component that changes its output state only when the clock signal transitions from a low voltage level to a high voltage level. This type of triggering prevents false changes due to noise on the clock line during stable high or low periods. Flip-flops and latches frequently employ positive-edge triggering to synchronize operations.
