Negative-edge-triggered
Term · Industrial and trades · MLC-T-IND-003872
Describing a digital circuit or flip-flop that changes its output state only at the falling edge of a clock signal, when the voltage transitions from high to low. This design prevents multiple state changes during a single clock pulse, providing synchronous operation. Many D-type flip-flops are designed to be negative-edge-triggered.
