Ramjet

A type of air-breathing jet engine that uses the forward motion of the aircraft to compress incoming air, rather than relying on a mechanical compressor. This engine design is efficient at supersonic speeds but cannot produce thrust at zero airspeed. Ramjets are often used in missiles and high-speed aircraft.
