Reducer

A pipe fitting that connects two pipes of different diameters, allowing for a change in flow area within a hydraulic system. This component can be concentric, where the reduction is symmetrical, or eccentric, where the reduction is offset. Reducers are rated by pressure class and material, such as Schedule 40 carbon steel.
