SFG
Term · Industrial and trades · MLC-T-IND-005184
An abbreviation for Signal Flow Graph, a graphical representation of a set of linear algebraic equations that shows the relationships between variables in a system. An SFG consists of nodes representing system variables and directed branches representing the functional connections between them, with each branch having an associated gain or transmittance. Mason's gain formula is a method for finding the overall transfer function of a system directly from its signal flow graph without algebraic manipulation.
