Describing ground or rock strata that have been disturbed or fractured by seismic activity, blasting, or other geological stresses, making them less stable. This condition can increase the risk of rockfalls and requires additional ground support measures in mining operations. Shaken ground often exhibits visible cracks and loosened fragments.
