Shisha

A type of embroidery that involves attaching small pieces of mirror, mica, or reflective metal onto fabric with a network of stitches. The stitches, which can be herringbone, chain, or buttonhole stitches, frame the mirror and secure it to the base material. Originating in South Asia, this technique is used for decorative purposes on clothing, tapestries, and other textiles to create a sparkling effect.
