Spunlaid
Term · Industrial and trades · MLC-T-IND-005562
A nonwoven fabric manufacturing process where molten polymer is extruded through spinnerets to form continuous filaments, which are then laid randomly onto a conveyor belt. These filaments are subsequently bonded together, often by heat or mechanical entanglement, to create a strong, durable fabric. Spunlaid nonwovens are widely used in hygiene products, geotextiles, and medical applications.
