Superduplex

A type of stainless steel characterized by a microstructure containing roughly equal proportions of austenite and ferrite, with enhanced corrosion resistance and strength. These alloys have higher chromium, molybdenum, and nitrogen content than standard duplex stainless steels. Superduplex steels are often used in demanding offshore and chemical processing applications.
