Track pizza

A temporary, portable train stop device placed on the railhead to protect a work zone from unauthorized train movements. The device, often a bright yellow wedge-shaped block, is designed to derail any rolling stock that passes over it at low speed, providing a physical last line of defense for workers on the track. It is named for its resemblance to a slice of pizza.
