Tutania

An alloy, also known as Britannia metal, composed primarily of tin with smaller amounts of antimony and copper. It is a pewter-like, silvery-white metal prized for its workability, corrosion resistance, and ability to take a high polish. First produced in the 18th century, Tutania was used for domestic items like tableware and candlesticks as a less expensive alternative to silver.
