Washdirt

Alluvial material, typically gravels and sands, that contains valuable placer minerals such as gold, diamonds, or tin, and is ready for processing by washing. This material is excavated from ancient or modern riverbeds and transported to a washing plant. Washdirt is the raw feed for gravity separation techniques.
