Wide-cut

Describing a drilling or cutting operation that removes a larger than usual amount of material in a single pass. This technique aims to increase efficiency by reducing the number of passes required to achieve the desired excavation. Wide-cut methods are often employed in soft rock formations or for initial bulk removal.
