Air toxins

Hazardous air pollutants that are known or suspected to cause cancer or other serious health effects, such as reproductive problems or birth defects, or adverse environmental effects. These substances are regulated by environmental agencies to limit their emission into the atmosphere. Examples include benzene, formaldehyde, and heavy metals.
