Full prior acts coverage
Term · Insurance and risk management · MLC-T-INS-001604
A feature of a claims-made liability policy under which there is no retroactive date, so the policy responds to claims first made during the policy period that arise from wrongful acts committed at any earlier time. Coverage is subject to the exclusion for claims and circumstances the insured knew of before inception. It removes the gap that a retroactive date would otherwise create, and it is common in professional liability and errors and omissions policies.
